Shannon Day Service - Rehab Group

This centre has capacity for 36 people in total. It houses a meeting room, relaxation room, a kitchen/dining area all downstairs. The programmes on offer are meditation, ladies group, men’s group, bingo, quizzes, current affairs, communication class, go for life, one-to-one cooking classes, computers, monopoly, board games walks, general knowledge, pool, library, skittles, arts and crafts, service user activity choice and games. Service users get the chance to gain independence by participating in programme along with partaking in the courses run by the VEC and Rehab Group’s learning division, National Learning Network. The service users can go on to college level after the VEC and NLN training if they so wish.
